The Landmark Arts Centre and Teddington Together are coming together to hold an indoor live music festival featuring a line-up of local artists on Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th May 2022.

The Landmark Arts Centre and Teddington Together are coming together to hold an indoor live music festival featuring a stunning line-up of local artists on Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th May 2022.
The event stems from the success of the six Rockin’ The Lockin online music concerts organised by Teddington Together during lockdown. The online concerts were set up to raise money for local charities and establishments who were struggling during lockdown. A fantastic £6,717 was raised across the six concerts.
One of the establishments to benefit from the fundraising initiative was The Landmark Arts Centre in Teddington. On 23rd May 2020, 25 super-talented local musicians played for 25 minutes each to raise money to prevent the permanent closure of the Landmark and to celebrate the venue’s 25th anniversary. The online concert was streamed from the musicians’ homes via video conferencing software across social media channels, and raised a fantastic £2,828. Weeks in planning, the event ran for over 12 hours on the day, and all artists and organisers gave their time for free
As a way of saying thank you to the local artists who took part, The Landmark Arts Centre have joined forces with Teddington Together to hold a two-day festival where the very same artists (alongside a few others) can perform in front of a live audience in the beautiful Landmark Arts Centre building.
Lesley Bossine at the Landmark commented ‘Back in 2020 we were so grateful for the support of Teddington Together and these fantastic local musicians as we battled to avoid permanent closure. Now we are delighted to be partnering with Teddington Together to present this live festival, showcasing amazing local talent for the whole community to enjoy.’
The music genres will range from country and blues to rock and pop via classical and rap, so everyone’s taste will be covered. The event will feature local traders selling food and drink alongside crafts stalls. All profits from the events will be split equally between The Landmark Arts Centre (a Registered Charity) and Teddington Together (a non-profit organisation) providing vital funds to enable them to continue serving the local community. All the monies for Teddington Together will go towards the costs of community events such as Teddington Christmas Lights Up.

We are also delighted to have newly launched spirits and cocktail mixers company, Bone Idyll, supporting the event on the Saturday night. The founders of one of Teddington’s favourite restaurants, 114 launched the new range of spirits and cocktail mixers back in November 2021 which are produced in a distillery on the riverside at Kingston.
The founders, Sam and Alex Berry commented 'We’re super excited to be part of Rockin the Lockin! A great community project over lockdown is now able to happen in person! Bone Idyll prides its self on supporting projects like this with the community at heart! Look out for our Distillery opening in Kingston Spring time – or pop in for a Bone Idyll Gin & Tonic at One One Four Teddington'
Tickets are £30 for the Saturday or £20 for the Sunday. With half price tickets for children under the age of 12.
The event has been launched with a special early bird discount of £40 for a ticket that offers access across the whole weekend, but these are limited so anyone interested in snapping up this discounted rate is urged to book soon.
